It sounds obvious but it is not. Before you start to lay your own flooring make sure you know what you are doing. While most flooring is not difficult to install, there are some specialized tools that are needed and some tips and tricks to be aware of. While the tools can be bought or rented, the tips and tricks are a bit harder to come by.
If you are the least bit unsure, hire a professional floor installer. The store you buy your flooring from will also be able to arrange installation. Since many stores often have free installation if you purchase your flooring from them, this can be the best way to go if you want to save yourself from headaches.
If you do not know what you are doing you will incur more costs by having to take out what you have done wrong and start again. Start it right from the beginning and hire an expert. They will have all the tools and equipment and will know how to use them.
